Becky Lasky
Product leader. Former costume designer. Still asking why.
“But why?”
Two things about me as a kid: my nickname was Motormouth, and my favorite words were "But why?" I've tempered the need to make every inner thought an outer one, but that drive to understand the why still powers my product work. Most whys have several becauses, and nothing thrills me like turning them into problem statements and a sexy stacked ranking. I want to make the right choice, but one of my main strengths is that I'm always willing to make a choice. If it's wrong, what I learn informs the next one.
Technology is changing product work fast, and I don't love all of it. It can feel solitary in your Claude echo chamber. What energizes me is how quickly it helps you research the why: data synthesized in hours, not weeks, and turned into a testable prototype in moments. (What up, Lovable!)
